Ron started on radio in the early eighties with London pirates Radio Sovereign, which was Britain's first oldies station, then on to Radio Jackie for a year, until it was closed down by the authorities, and was on air at the time of the raid. He was the first voice on the breakfast show for County Sound Gold in 1988, and enjoyed 4 happy years waking up Surrey and Hampshire. 30 years later, and he is still working on the radio, previous stations included Radio Mercury, Star FM, Time FM, The Eagle, Easy Radio, The Superstation, Reading's Classic Gold, and Solid Gold Gem AM. He is now delighted to be able to join the line-up on Caroline Flashback. more
