COMPLEX

From Cork City, Ireland, dj Complex is a founding member of TECH FM & the newly launched techfmireland.com as well as the Indica Sound System. Complex plays an extremely wide range of music after over 12 years djing. Every type of 4x4 mashed up is the hallmark, with little or no attention to genre boundaries. Started playing on pirate radio on radio k2 in january 1997 and guested on radio friendly twice. He has played in various clubs across Ireland including the Vaults, Redz , Club Rennaisance, Sir henrys and too many clubs & bars to mention in cork and elsewhere. Complex has played at nights with the likes of Eric Sneo, Mark Williams, Tony Thomas(soma records), Funk d void,(soma) Henrik B(drumcode) Jan Liefhebber, Liberator djs, Clare Large, Mike Humphries, Rhythm Technologies and more. STYLES: Plays everything from tribal / electro/ grungy house to techno/techtrance. Whatevers good on the night. The Indica Sound System have been playing together & working together on various projects for nearly ten years is made up of Complex, T-Rev & Darren M, With music production about to be their next venture, a label launch is planned for early 2007 with some exciting new Irish Artists involved. T-REV

T-rev has been djing for over 12 years and is a prime mover on corks techno scene. A member of the Indica Sound system he cut his radio teeth on k2 and his friday night techno show on Tech FM is proberly the most upfront in cork. Avoiding the more traditional techno sounds T-rev plays more cutting edge dancefloor & tech trance big room sounds. He has played alongside dj Complex,Darren M,Glenn K,dj Tek,Jamie Behan,Sean C,Mark D,Mick Cee, Funk d Void, Tony Thomas, Tom Hades,Eric Sneo, Filterheadz,Misstress Barbara,Jan Liefhebber,clare large,mark williams,Miss Motif,dolce musica,eric sneo and in a list of venues too long to mention. T-rev also indulges in tech house & electro when the situation demands (and it does a lot in Cork). He is also a regular at tech FM Inferno,kommunity & LiveWire events and is the main man behind fledging promoters 'Creekyfloor productions'. Production is the logical next step for the Indica Sound System and T-rev and the lads have been laying the foundations for this for the last few years.

DARREN M

A founding member, Darren is one of the few good trance djs in Cork. Darren's mixes go from proggy trance to euphoric tech-trancers seamlessly. Part of a new generation that isn't restricted by genre, Darren also plays an assortment of house music that refuses to see the boundarys between genres. He started his radio appearances on k2 like the rest of the Indica Sound System after the closure of which led to Tech FM being set up. Indica Sound: 4 to the floor: Relaunch! &; BIRTHDAY NEWS Since before xmas we havent really done any shows as we were being kept very busy in a lot of other ways, and having rethought the situation we realised at this stage we probably wont be able to do a weekly show on TechFM. Therefore we are relaunching the '4 to the floor' show in a new format.... FIRST SHOW '4 TO THE FLOOR no.1' THIS WEEKEND (check WWW.TECHFMIRELAND.COM schedule for times etc) To begin with it will be monthly (OR FORTHNIGHTLY WHERE POSSIBLE), and will also be available for d'load. As usual, there will be a variation of styles which will be ever changing &; will involve mixes from Complex, Darren M T-rev &; Glenn k plus guestmixes. The indica Sound System have been playing together &; working on various projects for ten years this year, since its humble beginnings on radio K2 in 1997. This year, as well as the new look show, will also see the Indica Sound 10th birthday party with special guests, the first Indica Sound live p.a. and more other stuff t.b.a. watch this space!
